The things you can do with the CNC are countless
Cheese slicers in the works.
Another one off my Yorahome.
A few more boards off my Yorahome.
A few more done on my Yorahome. The butterfly is the first time I’ve tried to crave epoxy with the CNC. Only a small amount but will be trying more going forward.
Hello once again YoraHome family. A little gift for my niece. Brazilian Cherry and Maple. The outstanding work done by my 3018 pro - can’t say enough about this machine.
Just wanted to share one of my carvings

Our little Havanese pup on a 100mm mirror coaster.
I haven't done much on my machines since November last year due family problems etc but got back into it and finished places settings for my nieces wedding this Friday. I used my 3036 for carving and lasering and some stuff using a scoll saw.
Turned out really nice.
New project done today.
Latest project finished on the 3036. Larch with a Danish oil finish. Led tealight for back-light.

I have had my Yorahome 3018 for just over 2 weeks now.. bought the laser attachment a week ago second hand.
What a great machine. Easy to set up.. Worked through my mistakes and I have already made some great pieces.
I have learned everything from reading all of your posts here.
Thank you all!!
My first project - Turned Plate and 3018 Engraved Compass Clock.
Another busy weekend done with my new 3018. So proud of my wedding sign! I even made the frame!
Had some fun in the garage today, one of the projects I've made.
My latest project with YoraHome 3036 40w laser on leather. This is a leather A5 journal cover, engraved, then cut out, dyed the leather with a British Tan dye, glued and stitched and then a black dye on all the edges. Took sometime to do the stitching and a few mistakes here and there but quite happy with the results.
Having fun and figuring it out
First attempts at these
Good morning folks, hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend.
Second try with my 3018! Getting the hang of it. :)
Not quite finished yet but getting close..
Made on a 3036 using ventric to create gcodes and easel to carve.
First laser engraving.. 800 at 20% on cedar and I used baking soda.. Also on a 3036 w/40w diode..
‘Go Big’, or ‘Go Home’!.
My first attempt at burning on canvas. 30cm x 40cm, and it took a bloody long time.
My computer crashed, for some unknown reason, when it was getting close to finished. I spent half a day working out how to crop the image, and restart the burn, from almost where it stopped.
I got it close, but not perfect, and that’s a lot better than redoing the whole thing.
Turned out great!
House numbers have been a success. Made it for myself and now everybody wants them. Bottom sign still needs a quick sand when the epoxy is fully cured
Christmas is alot cheaper when you can make gifts
Christmas orders have had us working nearly around the clock so we've been unable to participate much lately. Here's a quick look into some of the items that have been keeping us busy.
Custom 60-hole cribbage boards with a peg storage pocket on the back. These aren't quite finished yet as they need stain and feet.
Made with the 3018 (holes) and 65100 (engraving).
Getting the hang of this now so trying some bigger white tiles.
Our camping ‘Hut’ on my property - Eagle Dell.

Some items that I recently finished
New notepad design…..been dancing in the rain since I was born!
Having too much fun with a laser strapped to my 3018 to turn it back into a router ( the purpose it was purchased). So I had to get the 6550 tonight to continue fulfilling orders like this commission . In a timely manner lol
Look at how detailed this is! I am loving my 3018 more and more.
Using my 3018 Pro (40 watt laser), produced this Yeti thermos can holder for son's Christmas present. Didn't ever think I'd get into needle point!
Playing with my new 3018 to pair with my 6550 and made signs for my kids rooms. I posted these on Facebook and already have more orders than I can handle!
Really happy with how this turned out.
Best so far with my 5.5 w strapped to my 3018
Love playing with the 3018 pro with laser
Marcin white tile algorithm
Christmas orders starting to roll in.
Made for a buddies Son that graduated Marine Bootcamp. Pretty happy with the results. There are a couple of things I would do differently if I were to do it over.
One piece front & back carved into Walnut with paint and epoxy for the colors. Maple base and mini plaque with the Crucible stats laser engraved on.
Don't think that the 3018 pro is just for beginners it has awsum capabilities for routing and burning. Love it.
Wanted to share my first successful, fully carved project... just needs a few paint touch ups!
Carved and lasered County shaped bowl.
Just finished this order with a 15w on a 3018 Pro.
Pretty happy being able to sit beside my machine and not go blind while editing projects... With candy. Thanks, YoraHome!
Haven't posted any work for a while, so here's a few bits.
First acrylic test piece, used a 1/32 burr bit @ 6in per min feed. Took 3 hrs.

Machining and Burning, anything is possible with Yorahome!
Couldn’t be happier with my first slate attempt, well other than I scratched it on the corner of laser taking off machine
Took a while to dial this in.
Like how these come out...
Another project using both laser and cnc router. Designed by my son for his mum.
Just finished this one ...
Just finished this one up for the wife. Not to shabby for my first photo burn.
For a customer (at last)
One more done for a customer...lasegrbl 3018 3watt laser diagonal Jarvis 36 power 100 speed on live edge basswood.... if anyone needs help let me know
A little laser, a bit of carving and some epoxy.
"All that matters is what to do with the time that is given us"
I did my first multiple tile burn over the last two days.
My final burn of the evening. Salvador Dali. It didn't come out as dark as I had hoped. I should have double checked my focus first. The Norton Method will expose an out-of-focus laser pretty quickly. I can tell it's going to be too light when I wash the tile with lacquer thinner and it has black specs in the dissolving paint.
Tonight's tile consist of another doggy burn on a black/gray tile.
Tonight's addition to my pile of tiles. I saw this picture on a Facebook feed and grabbed it. I'll call it Old Time Machinist.
I'm a machinist by trade and these old black and white pictures are super cool to me. I wanted to see how an old b&w photo of relatively low quality would turn out.
4" tile with black painted over gray.
The little dithered doggy.
White 4"x4" tile painted gray then painted black.
Yora 3018 3watt
First major job with my 3018 Pro. 180 toy whistles burned without a miscue. I love this little machine.
Just a variation of my last burn...
Received my 3018 Pro today! Can't wait to get it together and create some stuff. Sorry in advance for all the questions I may have!
Finished my first glass etching. Oldest daughter’s wedding day. Used LightBurn @ 70% and 800 mm/. Took over 60 hrs on my 3018.
Backlit by the sun.
Enjoyed my morning off work and done a few test carves while playing around with the speed during carving. Only using MDF at the moment while testing.
Hot off the laser. I’ve been quiet for a few days, been watching tutorials, tips etc etc trying to learn faster than I seem to be. I’ve used nearly all my scrap pieces of wood....think I’m getting addicted to the smell of burning wood and need to plant me a forest
Ron E A.
Made up this design and burned it on the 3018 with 5 watt laser. Added the color after the burn.
Here’s one I just finished 3018 pro line to line Jarvis 9000 quality 85xpower 70xspeed
Just finished my first keyring off :) done with a piece of black acrylic on a 3018 pro.
My wifes 39th wedding anniversary card. Yeah, she cried. 3018 pro, 4 watt, Blondewood, 390 mm/min.
Shame its so hard to photograph mirrors, but there is a unicorn in the corner!
Completed this tonight for a buddy of mine that owns a realty firm here in our hometown. This is just a mock up prototype so they can tell me what they want. I’m now using Lightburn software. Took a little bit to get it set up and get used to it but man oh man can you do some cool stuff. I had to adjust the power for each one of the areas because of the different fonts so that nothing burned too heavy. I’m doing all this on a 3018 Pro CNC unit with a 5.5mw laser.
Here is the finished product of my JD Honey Whiskey shot paddle.. I utilized both the cutter and laser. I always include my logo on the back.I really love how the inlays came out!!
Burned a Catfish on back of my phone case.
I am so proud of this, a guy at work asked me to do this for him to surprise his girlfriend.
So after weeks of tearing my hair out with trying to use acrylic I finally have something to show - to anyone else going through the horror of melting and breaking tools, check your material, I had been buying what was supposed to be cast acrylic and just destroyed every bit, some Perspex arrived from a different supplier and voila!!!!
This is my favorite project this week, it uses both carving and laser......I love this machine!
When we first got the machine, had a few difficulties in getting it set up and working; the initial instructions didn't match with our unit. Yorahome support responded quickly with solutions, turns out our laser unit was the higher output, and wired up differently.
The support team got us up and running quickly, and followed up to make sure everything was going well.
Since then, we've been trying different designs and settings all the time; definitely happy with the system - helping Angie's craft business grow!
