Working Area Enough For DIYers

Optimized for accuracy and ease of use, the Yora 3018 has an open working area of 30x18cm (12x7") that makes it easy to lay down pieces of material. 

The effective engraving depth is up to 4.5 cm (1.8").

Powerful Spindle Motor

Powerful Laser Module

Yes! You can also use your Yora 3018 to laser engrave. You just need to replace your spindle motor by a laser module and you are good to go!

We offer 4 types of laser power: 3.5W, 5.5W, 15W and 40W. The 15W and 40W are the most versatile.

New Redesigned Control Board

The Yora 3018 control board runs on Arduino which a a very reliable and popular open source program.

It now includes a cooling fan to dissipate the heat and maintain the performance during the whole carving process.

User-Friendly Software | For Carving

To operate the Yora 6550, you first need a computer. Then, a software that can communicate directly with the control board of the machine.

We recommend Easel which is a web-based CNC software platform that allows you to design and carve from a single, simple program. It is free, easy to use and compatible with your Windows, Mac or Linux computer.

User-Friendly Software | For Laser Engraving

We recommend the LaserGrbl software for Windows users which is free to use, and also LightBurn software which comes with a 30-day trial (for PC, Mac and Linux).

These easy-to-use software packages will allow you to import your artwork (PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, etc.), edit it, apply settings like laser power, speed, number of passes, brightness, contrast, and much more.

Carving On Different Materials

With the Yora 3018, you can cut materials like wood, acrylic, plexiglass, PCB and soft aluminium.

For the spindle speed and power of this machine, we recommend not to engrave anything harder than brass or aluminum 6061. Anything harder can result in the motor burning out or some parts breaking.
