Another commissioned item made on my CrossRiver. This is a Sand Dollar carved in Maple and 10" in diameter. I used Easels new offering called Easel Generate which provides 3D Bars-Relief carvings complete with height maps. The customer lives next to the sea and wants to put this in the apex centre of her roof.

Another Lion in my 3D (. stl) files using Easel and my CrossRiver. Made from Mahogany and measures approximately 10" long. A gift for my sister in law. Comes with everything you need to get started right away, even some test materials.
Using Easel and my CrossRiver, made a Lion head out of Mahogany. It measures roughly 9" tall.

Well I ended up taking apart my Silverback and putting it back together. My leadscrew looked turned like it was bent but I dont think it really is. Once I put everything back together it seemed like my problem was the rollers. I had them too tight. Once I loosened them everything seemed to work fine. This flag was the first project I have done and it seems to be working great! Im back at it

Here’s a cutting board did for a cousin as wedding gift.
Did this donated to a silent auction to send kids to summer youth camps. Was surprised it brought $275.00 but anything for the kiddos.
We did a glass whiskey decanter and used acrylic paint marker. I tried spray on acrylic but couldn’t get even coat. The marker has a wide tip and was easy to put it on evenly. Speed at 500 and power at 35% using 10 watt module. Cleaned the paint off with paint thinner.
A sample cutting board that I engrave on my CrossRiver using 96w laser. This board I use to hopefully attract a "Personalized" customer gift.
What a serious upgrade!! My original 15W laser shorted out on my Silverback & luckily I wasn’t out of the shop for very long before I noticed it. Now I have a 80W laser that I am still tweaking the settings on & had the adapter ring for the 15W laser machined to hold the new laser. What a game changer!!!!! 👍🏻
Doing a college tumbler for a client and also personalized it for them. This is a 20oz skinny tumbler with a flip top lid and have some covers that have a cap over mouth piece that you can tilt back and drink that’s a bit more economical.— with Kathy Forbus Wells.
My grandfather made my grandmother a bookcase from a tree felled on his farm over 75 years ago. It was passed down through the family but unfortunately, it was recently ruined in a flood. I was able to salvage some of the wood and make this jewelry box for my daughter. I used only my CrossRiver for all of the carving and milling. I used my 6550 to engrave the story of the wood inside the lid. In part is says, “A damaged and discarded scrap of wood, reshaped and sanded, finds new life and meaning. You can’t change the wood’s past, but you can shape its future and purpose. Please remember that metaphor for life as well as all who cherished this wood in its other lives.”
One of my projects I made a few years ago. Stands about 18" high with a standard clock mechanism. Cut on a SilverBack CNC machine.

My grandson starts his 54 hours Crucible to become a full Marine tomorrow! It’s 54 hours of demanding, grueling work. I made these plaques to go in his table so we are with him during this time. I love my 6550

Well I got my Silver Back setup today. Now to load the software on my laptop. I’m excited to see what happens.
I found this file on Etsy a file to print on parchment paper. Bought the file did screenshot and set to png format, then fixed it up on image-r.com and here is final result on basswood plank that’s been sanded and borax applied to it 900mm/m at 30% using 10watt optical module. Finally added clear coat to it.
